The Administration Department, led by the Village Administrator, ensures the efficient delivery of municipal services and the smooth operation of day-to-day Village business. It provides professional management, oversees all departments, and guides the implementation of Village-wide goals and policies.
The department manages zoning, economic development, human resources, information technology, legal matters, and risk management. It also leads communications and community engagement efforts, including social media and public information. In addition, the Administration Department prepares agendas for Village Board and committee meetings and carries out Village Clerk functions such as maintaining official records, processing Freedom of Information Act requests, and providing election information. The department also works closely with other government entities and responds to resident inquiries and requests to ensure high-quality service and support. The Village Administrator additionally serves as the Village’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator.
