Elburn Police Car with Lights On

The Village of Elburn Police Department provides professional law enforcement services to residents, businesses, and visitors within the Village limits. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Department is committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering trust, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The Department works closely with residents to ensure everyone feels safe, supported, and confident in their local police. Through proactive policing, community outreach, and partnership with residents, we work to prevent crime, address concerns, and enhance the overall quality of life in Elburn.

Our team includes 11 full-time and six part-time sworn officers, led by a Chief and Deputy Chief, along with two Sergeants, a Detective, and patrol officers. Supporting staff include two non-sworn Community Service Officers, two full-time records specialists, and one part-time records specialist. Several officers have specialized training as evidence technicians, juvenile officers, and breath-alcohol technicians, and we operate a bicycle patrol during special events.
